June TBR!

Hello again literary lovers!!
Time for my TBR, and I've only picked a couple to read this month as I usually just end up not sticking to my TBR's when I pick a lot of them, because I  like to read ''in the moment'' sometimes and not be stuck to a plan.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by J.K. Rowling
Synopsis - Harry Potter thinks he is an ordinary boy. He lives with his Uncle Vernon, Aunt Petunia and cousin Dudley, who are mean to him and make him sleep in a cupboard under the stairs. (Dudley, however, has two bedrooms, one to sleep in and one for all his toys and games.) Then Harry starts receiving mysterious letters and his life is changed forever. He is whisked away by a beetle-eyed giant of a man and enrolled at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The reason: Harry Potter is a wizard! The first book in the "Harry Potter" series makes the perfect introduction to the world of Hogwarts.
I'm about to shock you.....I've never read Harry Potter....I know, please stop throwing things at me!
I tried to read it when I was younger and I couldn't get into it so I just never picked it up again but I've heard all the raving about these books on Youtube so I just had to pick it up and give it another go!
I wanted to get an edition that I really liked because there's so many out there but none of them caught my eye apart from this Signature Edition cover, I like how it's quite simple and clean and doesn't have too much going on.

The Selection by Kiera Cass
Synopsis - Thirty-five beautiful girls. Thirty-five beautiful rivals…
It’s the chance of a lifetime and 17-year-old America Singer should feel lucky. She has been chosen for The Selection, a reality TV lottery in which the special few compete for gorgeous Prince Maxon’s love.
Swept up in a world of elaborate gowns, glittering jewels and decadent feasts, America is living a new and glamorous life. And the prince takes a special interest in her, much to the outrage of the others.
Rivalry within The Selection is fierce and not all of the girls are prepared to play by the rules. But what they don’t know is that America has a secret – one which could throw the whole competition… and change her life forever.
I've also heard a million and one things about The Selection trilogy too and I'm in the mood for a fluffy read so this will be perfect for me after Harry Potter :)

Aside from them, I'm just going to see as I go which books I feel like reading, I think I'll be more successful with my TBR this way :)
Toodles! x
