September TBR!

Hello again bookish peeps!!
I can't believe it's September already!!!
I'm super stoked for Autumn, I can't wait for the leaves to start turning orange and for it to get chilly enough to start buying/wearing jumpers!
I did really well with my August TBR, I finished 2 of the books and I'm currently reading the third, so a successful TBR for once!!

Into The Still Blue by Veronica Rossi
Synopsis - Outside the dome of Reverie, Aria and Perry are struggling to keep their people from tearing each other apart. Their situation is desperate, and with the Aether storms worsening time is running out for them to rescue Cinder from Hess and Sable.
Cinder is both the key to unlock the Still Blue and their only hope for survival, so Aria and Perry assemble an unlikely team to attempt a daring rescue mission. They know that in a dying world, the bond of friendship is what matters most.
I'm part of the way through this book now but I pushed it to the wayside to read Before I Go To Sleep so I can go and see the movie of that book when it comes out.
I adore this trilogy and I'll be so sad when it's come to an end!
This was on my last months TBR, the only book I didn't successfully finish but I have started it and it shouldn't be long until I do finish it!

Before I Go To Sleep by S.J. Watson
Synopsis - Memories define us.
So what if you lost yours every time you went to sleep? Your name, your identity, your past, even the people you love - all forgotten overnight. And the one person you trust may only be telling you half the story.
Welcome to Christine's life.
I was recommended to read this book by my friend because she wants to go and see the film once it comes out so I promised to read this book before the 5th of September!
I'm so far really enjoying it, I've just finished Gone Girl and Before I Go To Sleep is definitely on a similar vein to that book, full of intrigue and guessing games.
I really like books that get me thinking like this and I am looking forward to seeing the movie!

To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han
Synopsis - Lara Jean keeps her love letters in a hatbox her mother gave her. One for every boy she's ever loved. When she writes, she can pour out her heart and soul and say all the things she would never say in real life, because her letters are for her eyes only.Until the day her secret letters are mailed, and suddenly Lara Jean's love life goes from imaginary to out of control.
I've heard so much about this Jenny Han book that I just can't resist any longer!
I love the cover with the shiny black Sharpie-esque writing too, it really looks like someone as written on the cover!

Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay
Synopsis - Dexter Morgan isn't exactly the kind of man you'd bring home to your mum. At heart, he's the perfect gentleman: he has a shy girlfriend, and seems to lead a quiet, normal life bordering on the mundane. Despite the fact that he can't stand the sight of blood, he works as a blood-spatter analyst for the Miami police.
But Dexter also has a secret hobby: he is an accomplished serial killer. So far, he's killed 36 people and has never been caught because he knows exactly how to hide the evidence. And while that may lead some people to assume he's not such a nice guy, he tempers his insatiable hunger for brutality by only killing the bad guys.
However, Dexter's well-organised life is suddenly disrupted when a second, much more visible serial killer appears in Miami. Intrigued that the other killer favours a style similar to his own, Dexter soon realises that the mysterious new arrival is not simply invading his turf but offering him a direct invitation to 'come out and play'...
Longest. Synopsis. EVER.
I'm sure we all know what Dexter is, the sexy serial killer played by Michael C. Hall, but these are the books that inspired the series!
Apparently the series took a completely different route to the books so, although the books will be familiar to a fan of the series like me, I don't think me having watched all of the seasons will have ruined the books for me entirely.

There we go! My TBR is slightly more adventurous this month, but I must put my disclaimer out there that I do on every TBR, I may not finish all these books as sometimes I just like to read whatever I feel like at the time, and not plan it out weeks in advance.
Toodles! x
