Fictional Boyfriend TAG!

Hey book babes!
I haven't done a tag post in a while and when I saw this one floating around booktube I knew I had to do it!
I'm a big fan of fictional men, why can't real life men be demon hunters/angels/warriors?! Real life sucks sometimes....
Also expect to see a few repeat answers here, I'm very loyal to one particular book boyfriend...

1. Most romantic boyfriend
Levi from Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
I loved Levi, he didn't do huge romantic gestures but for me the little things are always way more appealing, like him always walking her home across the dark campus and sticking up for her and her sister.
He's always there for Cath and is the kind of boy you could imagine all your friends and family loving!

2. Dark and moody bad boy with a good side
Mr Darcy from Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen
This might be a weird choice but for me he's the original dark, moody bad boy who turns out to be so much more!
Elizabeth is one lucky lady getting to step out with Mr Darcy, he so intensely loves her and you know it's a true love because, even though he tried to fight it, he couldn't and he gave into it and poured his heart out to her.

3. Paranormal boyfriend
Akiva from Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
If you've never read these books then O.M.G. you have missed out! Akiva is an absolute babe, he just so happens to be an angel too!
He isn't a girly angel though with feathery wings and a halo, he's a bad-ass, butt kicking angel with a six pack and a face so beautiful it almost hurts to look at him...see what I mean about fictional boyfriends being SO much better than real guys?!

4. Boyfriend you want to tame
Dexter from Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay
Now...a lot of people might think this choice is weird but HELLO, have you SEEN Dexter in the TV series?!
Technically it might be cheating because I haven't read the Dexter books but I have watched the whole TV series and I know I adore him so I'm going to give myself this one!
Yes, he's a serial killer..but he only kills bad people, and I definitely think I could tame this ultimate of all bad boys!

5. Boy you friend zoned
Peeta from Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
There was something about Peeta that I just couldn't get behind, I always felt more connection with Gale but even then I didn't feel the heat you should feel between a book couple, I just felt like Katniss was carrying Peeta a lot and he wasn't much of a hero, and Gale was a bit bland!

6. Your soul mate
Perry from Under The Never Sky by Veronica Rossi
Peregrine is my number one book boyfriend, the way he talks about Aria is so dreamy, he loves her so much and protects her over anything else.
He is also a certified HOTTIE! He's exactly my type, blonde hair, tanned, a little bit rough around the edges but still a pretty boy.
I can't even begin to tell you how much I love him, I think Veronica Rossi writes characters really well, especially male characters.

7. Boyfriend you want to elope with
Willem from Just One Day by Gayle Forman
Willem was such a fun character, I really felt like if you went to Paris, or anywhere, with him you would have so much fun with this free spirit!

8. Boyfriend you'd venture anywhere with
Roar from Under The Never Sky by Veronica Rossi
Roar and Perry were neck and neck for a while in my affections until Perry started to pull away and win the race, but I still have a massive soft spot for Roar.
He's a sweet, cute guy with a joke for every occasion, plus he's absolutely beautiful.
He would be a great travelling companion because he always protects Aria in the books, he's fun to be around but he knows when to be serious, plus you'd never get bored of staring at his face!

9. Boyfriend you'd want to be stranded on a desert island with
Akiva from Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
For all of the reasons I listed before, gorgeous, intense, loving...but also he has wings, so he could fly us straight off the island! A no-brainer :)

10. Most badass boyfriend
Perry from Under The Never Sky by Veronica Rossi
Perry again! He is definitely bad-ass, through all three books he puts himself at risk to save others and goes through a lot of pain, and inflicts even more pain, and if that's not bad-ass then I don't know what is!!

There we are! Feel free to do this tag if you'd like to, but do link below because I'd love to read it :)
Now I'm off for a cold shower..............
Toodles! x
