Hi bookworm buddies!!
I'm here to do my August TBR, I'm not going to commit myself to too many books because a lot of the time I just like to read whatever I'm in the mood for and don't like to plan it, but there is a few books that I'd love to get read in the next month.
I've read a lot this past month now that I'm all settled into my new house, I've been on a bit of a roll! But I'll save that for my Wrap-Up post!

Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
Synopsis - Eleanor is the new girl in town, and she's never felt more alone. All mismatched clothes, mad red hair and chaotic home life, she couldn't stick out more if she tried. Then she takes the seat on the bus next to Park. Quiet, careful and - in Eleanor's eyes - impossibly cool, Park's worked out that flying under the radar is the best way to get by. Slowly, steadily, through late-night conversations and an ever-growing stack of mix tapes, Eleanor and Park fall in love. They fall in love the way you do the first time, when you're 16, and you have nothing and everything to lose. Set over the course of one school year in 1986, Eleanor & Park is funny, sad, shocking and true - an exquisite nostalgia trip for anyone who has never forgotten their first love.

I read Fangirl a few months ago and I adored it so I don't know why it's taken me this long to read another Rainbow Rowell book!
I've heard so much about this book from Booktubers and book bloggers alike, it seems to be a hugely popular book so I can't wait to get stuck into it myself!

Into The Still Blue by Veronica Rossi
SynopsisOutside the dome of Reverie, Aria and Perry are struggling to keep their people from tearing each other apart. Their situation is desperate, and with the Aether storms worsening time is running out for them to rescue Cinder from Hess and Sable.
Cinder is both the key to unlock the Still Blue and their only hope for survival, so Aria and Perry assemble an unlikely team to attempt a daring rescue mission. They know that in a dying world, the bond of friendship is what matters most.

The Under The Never Sky trilogy is far and away my favourite trilogy of books I've ever read, and this is the last one left! I'm really sad to finish the trilogy but also very excited to see how it ends!

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
SynopsisLissa Dragomir is a mortal vampire. She must be protected at all times from the fiercest and most dangerous vampires of all - the ones who will never die.
Rose Hathaway is Lissa's best friend - and her bodyguard.
Now, after two years of illicit freedom, they've been dragged back inside the iron gates of St. Vladimir's Academy. The girls must survive a world of forbidden romances, a ruthless social scene and terrifying night-time rituals. But above all, they must never let their guard down, lest the immortal vampires take Lissa - forever . . .
I've had this book for a while now and I hear a lot about it so I want to give it a read myself! And not at all because if I enjoy it it means I have an excuse to buy the box set of the full series......I have a problem.
There we go! That's my TBR for the coming month, hopefully I can get as many books read as I did this month, it's not a massive amount but it's still a lot for me! Stay tuned for my Wrap-Up!

Hello and welcome to another Friday Reads post!!
I've had a week off and I've SO enjoyed just relaxing and spending some time with my new rescue cat Maggie :)
I've also managed to get quite a lot of reading done too which is exciting! I really feel like I'm getting back on track with my reading.

I'm just over halfway through Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor, I haven't seen this edition of the book before so when I spotted it for just £3.20 on a site called Jazmin Books (link here) I just had to have it immediately!
Delivery was really swift and the picture of the cover doesn't do it justice, it's iridescent like peacock feathers, a really beautiful edition!

Moving onto the story, I'm super impressed with the writing! I've found myself really absorbed in the story and the characters, I love Karou, she's both girly and kick-ass which is my favourite combination for a heroine!
As for Akiva, boy does he sound GORGEOUS! Apparently they're making a film version of this book, but I pity the actor who has to live upto the books description of Akiva, I don't think anyone in real life is that good looking!

I will definitely be reading the rest of the books in the series! Hopefully I can find matching editions though...#bookbloggerproblems ;)

If I finish this book this weekend then I think I might move onto a contemporary like I Heart Paris or Anna & the French Kiss :)

Hello lovely lovely book lovers!!
Time for another Friday Reads post! I'm finally getting back into the swing of reading since we moved house so I've gone through two books since my last Friday Reads post, definitely on the right track!

The Death Cure by James Dashner is the last in the Maze Runner trilogy.
I know a lot of people didn't get along with this trilogy for whatever reason but I've thoroughly enjoyed it!
The second book was a lot more action-packed than the first, and this one looks like it's following on in that tradition because I'm only 84 pages in so far and it's super exciting stuff!!
I wont give anything away about the plot because that would spoil the first two books but let's just say that there's lots of twists and turns and you're never sure who to trust!

There's also a prequel to the trilogy to read called The Kill Order so at least after this book is over I still have something to look forward to from this trilogy.

Hello and long time no see booky-wooks!!
I've been absent for a while because I've been moving house! Me and my boyfriend have moved into our first house together, and we've also adopted a cat called Maggie, who is arriving this Saturday!
So I've been a busy bee for the past few weeks but I'm trying to get back into the swing of blogging now!
I've also not really had a chance to read much this month so I don't know whether I'll bother with a Wrap-Up post for last month, but I'll see!
Onto my Friday Reads!!

Yes, I haven't read the Harry Potter series, this is a big admission from a book blogger!!!
I'm over 200 pages into Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and so far I'm really enjoying it! I've never seen the movies before so it's all new to me, although when I'm reading about Snape I do picture Alan Rickman sometimes! But as for Harry Potter, I don't picture him as Daniel Radcliffe at all.
Before I bought this book I wanted to make sure I had the covers I liked the most, I know covers aren't really important to normal people but to a book obsessive like me these things matter haha.
The covers I settled on are the Signature Edition ones, after I've finished this book I think I'll just take the plunge and buy the box set of these editions as that's more cost effective than buying them one at a time.

I'll probably be reading this book all weekend too so that's all for this Friday Reads post!
