T5W - Top 5 Books You Would Recommend To New Readers!

Hi guys!!
This is my second Top 5 Wednesday post, I've missed the past two weeks because I simply couldn't think of 5 answers for the topics!
But this one is a bit easier for me, so here goes!!

1. Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
This is, hands down, my favourite book of all time! I've done a review of it (link here) and I can safely say that a book has never touched me, warmed me and changed me more than this one.
I recommend it to everyone anyway, so I might as well recommend it here as well!

2. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
This is obviously a very popular series of books, but for good reason!
Katniss is a brilliant heroine, the writing style keeps you interested all through the books and the premise is one that people have tried to copy and recreate since but have never quite got there!
Also it's a YA book so if you're not a big reader it won't be too heavy for you.

3. I Heart New York by Lindsey Kelk
This is such a fun, addictive book! I think most girls would enjoy it, especially if you like films like Bridget Jones!
You can tell it's written by a author who is also a beauty blogger, because she drops a lot of designer brands and cult beauty products into the dialogue.

4. The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown
I read this when I was quite a bit younger, and thought it would be far too much for me, far too religious and heavy, but it wasn't! It was a fun, captivating romp and Robert Langdon is a likeable protagonist.
There's always something to keep you interested and it kept me guessing right until the end!

5. How To Fall In Love by Cecelia Ahern
I've also done a review about this book too (link here), this was a book that I read in less than 24 hours!!
It was such a romantic, sweet book, yes it was a bit predictable but I think for a new reader it would be a great book to get them into the books of Cecelia Ahern, she's one of my favourite authors and I love to recommend her to other people.

There we go! I enjoy doing these lists so I hope the Top 5 topics for April are suited to me :)
Toodles! x
