How To Fall In Love by Cecelia Ahern.

Hello again guys!
Today I'm going to share my review of a book called How To Fall In Love by Cecelia Ahern.
The dust jacket looked like this, a beautiful cobalt blue with gold lettering and a gold lovebird design on the front, with Cecelia Ahern written in white lettering.
The dust jacket has a sort-of waxy texture, it feels like the packaging of Nars makeup products, if you know what that feels like! But because of that texture it attracts fingerprints so I decided to take the dust jacket off, to be honest I prefer hardback books without the dust jacket anyway!
I really like the actual book design as well, this gorgeous white book with gold lettering and some more lovebirds on the side of the book, it looks great on my bookshelf!

Synopsis - She has just two weeks. Two weeks to teach him how to fall in love – with his own life.
Adam Basil and Christine Rose are thrown together late one night, when Christine is crossing the Ha'penny Bridge in Dublin. Adam is there, poised, threatening to jump.
Adam is desperate – but Christine makes a crazy deal with him. His 35th birthday is looming and she bets him that before then she can show him life is worth living .
Despite her determination, Christine knows what a dangerous promise she's made. Against the ticking of the clock, the two of them embark on wild escapades, grand romantic gestures and some unlikely late-night outings. Slowly, Christine thinks Adam is starting to fall back in love with his life. But is that all that's happening… ?

My non-spoiler review - I read this book in less than 24 hours because I got so involved in the characters that I just felt like I HAD to know what happened to them all!
Adam is a seemingly perfect guy, aside from the fact he was about to throw himself off a bridge when we meet him, but he has demons he needs to face upto.
Christine is the girl who talks him down from the bridge, but mistakenly makes a promise to him that she will show him the reasons why he should live, and he gives her a matter of weeks to do so!
I loved the relationship between these two characters, it was warts and all with them, he would go off in rages sometimes and she would try and hide things from him, but in the end they were completely honest with each other and became dependant on each other, in a good way.
The writing style is Cecelia's usual readable style, you feel like you're listening to a friend tell a story rather than being conscious you're reading a book about people you don't know, and that don't actually exist!
Also Cecelia gives you the ultimate ''happy endings'', Adam is basically an ideal man and does things that real men rarely ever do, he has that Disney factor! haha.
I was so happy with the ending of this book, I was so scared that Cecelia wasn't going to give the ending I wanted to see but I was super thankful when I read it and she completed the story perfectly, in my eyes anyway!
Rating - 5/5
